01. Souvenir Means Memory
The word souvenir means 'memory.' We go somewhere to visit, and we bring back a memory—typically in the form of a keepsake called a souvenir. Giftshops are full of souvenirs in Paris and elsewhere. If you're on a big trip, you may end up with a lot of trinkets, chocolates, and gifts to lug around. You may want to consider carefully how you want to manage the logistics, because today's world is quite different from that of half a century ago or more.
